The package comprises Onyx Graphics software to prepare the files to be imaged, an Oce LightJet photo laser printer to image the files, a Colex processor to develop the imaged media, and a Fotoba cutter to trim the final output.The Oce LightJet 430 prints up to 50-in. Wide and the Lightjet 500XL prints up to 76-in. Wide-allowing shops to nest smaller photos onto one large sheet to minimize waste.

If done manually, nesting is a time-consuming process; but the Onyx software package (including ProductionHouse and PosterShop) automatically nests images to maximize media usage. The software also adds X-Y cutter marks between nested images for reading and autotrimming by the Fotoba Digitrim cutter. The LightJet then images the graphic and the Colex RTK Wide-Format DP Series Digital Ready RA4 Processor develops the output from the LightJet.
